Thank you for helping us reach 5k Facebook likes!

Hey there, friends! It’s Elementree Livity Project coming at you once again for another monthly update. October brought us some great experiences including a killer set at Resonance Music and Arts Festival featuring Chris Houser from The Werks, as well as a blistering performance at Jimmie’s ladder 11 in Dayton, Ohio with our dear friends, Jonny Dreads and The Mystiks. On top of that, we hit 5,000 likes on Facebook in only 14 months of playing out!!!! We certainly could not have done it without all of the love and support that our growing fan base has shown us. We’ve all been to a lot of shows in our lives, however, we’ve never witnessed such an outpouring of love and good vibes, as it seems to simply ooze out of Livity fans. We are truly blessed, humbled, and thankful for all of you.

Coming up, we have a slew of great shows lined up as we take the road to places like Columbus, Huntington, Covington, and Newport where we will be throwin’ it down with some of our favorite bands like the mighty Shrub, our dear brethren from Roots of a Rebellion, the super trippy Consider The Source and the Grammy award-winning Shaggy! Get your tickets before they sell out by clicking HERE!

Can’t wait to see you all very soon!!!!

One Year In Livity…

Elementree Livity ProjectElementree Livity Project

It’s pretty hard to believe that the five of us have only been playing shows together as Elementree Livity Project for just one year.  We decided that it was important to start a blog that would help us to capture the special moments that have happened to our musical family while keeping our extended family of fans in the proverbial “know”.  This past weekend marked the one year anniversary show which was, ironically, the same event.  That event was the Stanley’s Fourth Annual Reggae Fest featuring local powerhouse reggae bands Know Prisoners, The All Star Jammerz and  The Cliftones alongside ELP.  The band has already had the honor of sharing the stage with the likes of The Wailers, Everton Blender, Warrior King, Keller Williams, Papadosio and The Revivalists to name a few.  As the festival season swings in to high gear, keep your eyes out for ELP at such festivals as FreeForAll Fest, Rootwire, Resonance as well as our very own festival, Ohmstead!!!

Currently, the band is working hard on the completion of their very first release from the studio. The tracking is nearly complete and then we will be in the mixing and mastering stages.  The band is hopeful for a release prior to Ohmstead Music Festival which takes place August 22-24.  Tickets for the festival can be purchased here

In the meantime, here is the most recent review of the band for everyone to enjoy.  Also, please swing on by the Facebook page to give us a like and share with your friends and family as well.  We wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for all of the beautiful fans that have encouraged us from the beginning.  Thank you all for making our first year so memorable.

Namaste! Livity! One Love!!!

Here Comes The Livity Project!

From the land of the seven hills, is born a new breed of sound, a melting pot of reggae rhythms, hip hop grooves, & blistering jams. In an Ohio river town, rich with history of steamboats and pork production; and mostly known for it’s chili, micro brews, sports, & ice cream; Elementree Livity Project is carving out a space all its own.

Since hitting the stage for the first time in June of 2013, Livity has already gladly shared the stage with the likes of The Original Wailers, Warrior King, Everton Blender, The Luminaries, Tropidelic, Shrub, The Cliftones, Roots of a Rebellion, Sensamotion, & Baoku Moses & The Afrobeat Image Band. And they’re just getting started….

Elementree Livity Project brings to the stage a positive, conscious message, an infectious groove, and irresistible melodies. The band is comprised of David “Elementree” Danforth (Vocals & Guitar), Brandon “Bean” Bastin (Lead Guitar & Vocals), Stephen Buttree (Sax, Keys, & Vocals), Michael Walker (Bass), & Cisco Hughes (Drums).

The goal is simple; to bring the message of Livity to the masses. The Livity Project is about spreading positive vibes; a message of peace, harmony, & acceptance for all people; it is a message of love & understanding for all. Peace and one love!
